I sent in my Pearl to get the trackball "select" fixed and the volume button fixed back on 3/31. They told me it would be turned around in 24 hours and then they'd get it back to me. I shipped it FedEx next day as I wanted to get my BB back as soon as possible. I figured I'd be without it for a week. LOL.

BBRepairShop has an option to ship it for free via USPS, but that is uninsured. I chose that when I originally processed my online order. I then changed my mind and decided to have it shipped back FedEx ground so it would be insured. So I called their cust. serv. and talked to a guy named Manuel. This was the morning after I shipped it (the morning of the day they would be receiving the phone). He told me to send him an e-mail and he'd get it over to shipping to have the shipping method changed. Cool. I sent the e-mail late that day (4/1).

This past Monday rolls around (4/5) and no BB, so I checked online and there's no way to track my order online. So I called them to get a tracking number. They tell me that it already shipped out via USPS and I should have it by Tuesday (4/6). So I didn't get it on 4/6, so I called them again. They tell me that there was a problem with their system and it never got shipped. Something about the invoice gone missing. So they said, "We'll have it shipped out via FedEx so it will be insured." I said, "Great."

So I waited three days until yesterday and called to get the tracking number. The Customer Service guy I talked to this day, Mike, gave me a FedEx tracking number. I looked it up today and it was shown to be going to a totally different state. So I called them again today.

It turns out that it shipped via USPS YESTERDAY! It's been sitting in their shop for a WEEK, and they still shipped it via USPS.

These guys have no clue what is going on. I hope they at least fixed my phone correctly.

I just want you all to know what I went through.

As far as I can tell, Horizon does not repair the ball "select" problem, nor broken volume buttons.

I wish I knew that then. I'll never use BBRepairshop again. Not only do they not have their "stuff" together, but they've been lying to me every time I call.

I just want to let everybody know that I talked to BBRepairShop.com and they have made it right. The phone works the way it should.

I would definitely give them another try. They seem to really care that things went wrong this one time. Apparently, when I had my problem, most of the staff was off at CIS.
