Default 4.0 OS and BES/MDS

Will there be any advantages to subscribing to a 3d party BES/MDS provider with the 4.0? Will it make a difference if the device is a 7230, as opposed to the 7100 and the 7290?

Thanks.

Guess,
I suppose I should read this in conjunction with your long post on advantages of keeping MDS/BES 3d party solutions, even with 4.0. Or is this post now mooted by the features of the 7290?

Yes I meant Mark's post.

I notice Mark states that going with a BES/MDS hosting solution, even with 4.0, is still advantageous because, inter alia, you get better performance due to slow BWC service, and your OTA downloads are not so limited, as might occur otherwise. I'm trying to read this in conjunction with your above post that there is no advantage if you have 4.0, except for extra email storage. Is there something I'm not following, as I am a tad confused.
Thanks.
