There are many posts that cover this but basically, what is necessary is to post the properly formatted for your specific model BB ringtone file to a website, the go to that site!using your Blackberry Internet Browser (not WAP) and select the file and play it, then save it using the far right button in the player. Then from the profiles app you can assign it to a notification type.

Hope this helps.

That ringtone has been posted several times. What model BB do you have? Formats are different for different models. Try searching this forum (table bar option) for tont soprano.

Hope this helps.

Try www.tuneusin.com

I would be happy to convert the file and post it to my site.

We should be fine, but am always looking for better service.

We are in the process of encoding over 5000 ringtones and should have them on the site within the next week. Traffic is really taking off, we are averaging over 30,000 hits per day.

Let me know if this is something you can handle and how much the service is.

Thanks

It is done most easily OTA (over the air) Pick your favorite site to download from, go to this site with your blackberry, click on the tune you want to download, while it is playing, click your wheel and select save. Viola!

Otherwise, search the forums for alternate methods, there are plenty out there.

You have to have a Blackberry Data plan associated with your Phone account. You get that from your phone Provider, which in your case I assume is Cingular. Their personal BB data plan is $29.95 with an appropriate phone plan. This plan will give you everything you need. Also check the FAQ sticky at the top of the General Blackberry Discussion Forum.

Hope this helps.

So I have been able to playback the mp3 and/or midi fille in the blackberry player, but when I go to the far right button it doesn't give me an option to save the file. it does let me bookmark, save page to message list. i did the latter but the midi file didn't show up on the profiles app to be able to select.

I have a 7130c.

any ideas?

Dude!

You keep plugging your site!! WE ALL GET IT!!!!

Everytime I try to download a ringtone from your site, my phone locks up!!! It doesnt happen on any of the other sites!

Instead of plugging your site, how about helping some people???

Jeesh!
