Hi there.. Iam having Blackberry 8120 Pearl... which does having the OS 4.3....
long back I upgraded my os to 4.5 but the volume was so less to hear..... Hence I roll backed to 4.3....... But the problem is OS 4.3 doesn't have 'Docs To Go'. So I tried to install 'Docs to go' manually.... I was succeeded. ( When I installed os 4.5 on my PC I backed up the .alx and .cod files and loaded through the application loader.)........ But recentry I reinstalled my os and Docs To Go has gone....... So I tried to reinstall it manually but I was unable to do that. Its showing the errors...... ( I mean to say that I can install those manually but word to go is not opening.. I can open sheet to go and slide show to go......).

And I downloaded the software 4.6 and 5.0 OS which is for 8220....... I tried to install on my 8120 in many ways but its not taking...... is there any trick to install OS 4.6 or 5.0 on BB 8120 Pearl........

no you can only have what's been released for the 8120 I believe the O2 release is best even for the 8110 I can tell the difference with the O2 release compared to the CSL release, go to BlackBerry - BlackBerry Desktop and Device Software Download Sites find o2 europe

A couple of things:

1. You won't be able to download OS upgrades for models other than your own. The 8220 downloads simply won't work for you.

2. Try wiping your device and re-loading an OS version for your 8120. here is a thread that will assist with this:

Just install the latest version of 4.5 for your 8120. That's the best thing out there right now.
