hi,
i have a problem about browsing. when i try to connect any webpage i get:
http error 400 : bad request
the server could not understand the page request,or was unable to process it for some reason.please try loading a different page.

details
socketexception : connection reset

my handheld is : blackberry 7290.
BES server : blackberry manager 4.0

have you any idea about that problem?

The internet browser should connect for you if you have the data plan.

If you have a proxy in your network to get to the internet, you will have to set that up on your BES for the BlackBerry browser to work.

thank u for answer.
i use blackberry 's standard browser. GPRS is active .but i dont understand what is relationship with my proxy ? Does Blackberry use its own internet gateway ?
in case i dont have proxy.

im having the same issue and my bbToday is not working either the weather and stock part i think it goes through the MDS browser....

this happened overnight and i dont think they disabled mds on bes 4.0 overnight...

the problem has been solved. Reason is ; our IDS reset the connection because of the long header information. we create rule on IDS then handheld can connect internet.
