Default Torch Screen is Blank

Please Login to Remove!

My blackberry Screen has been blank, but the keypad lights, the red and green button and the escape buttons lights when i flip.

I have done several battery pull outs, all not solved it. When i do a battery pull out and put the battery back, i see the red led light for like few seconds, than it goes off, but i don't see the screen loading the white line loading...i see nothing on the screen.

The phone works perfectly, cos when i am called and flip it open or hit the green button i can receive calls, though i can't see who's calling since the screen is blank

Also when i receive emails or bbms, it alerts me, but because the screen is blank, i obviously can't read it.

Please does anyone that have the solution, tell me how to solve it specificly? I mean specifics not the trial and error mode of pull out battery (which i have done and it solves nothing) or reloading os

Hopefully someone else must have had this issue and solved it

Never had that problem, but it sounds like maybe you backlight is not working. You should take it back and request a replacement under warranty.

I occasionally have that problem when I slide the keypad out too quickly or too hard. Usually closing and sliding out again slowly will correct it. Must have something to do with the contacts somewhere.

Just a random issue for me.

The solution is to close the slider and open it slowly. Did you read what I posted above?

It sounds like your screen is defective. Is it a new phone that you can return under warranty? Do you recall anything happening to it (dropped, got wet, etc)? Good luck.

If the phone fell once, they'd refuse the warranty.
I am still having the very same issue. It started almost two weeks ago, with the screen not responding intermittently [once in 5-10 times], then it became more frequent till yesterday, where all my attempts [Rebooting, Sliding Slowly, Pressing the Lock Button On/OFF] failed to get the screen back. Went to the store & was denied warranty.

I downloaded the videos on "How To Replace The BlackBerry Torch Screen" from Y.T & opened the phone, found there was a loose connector inside.

Any Phone Repair Shop must be able to do this..... IF You Don't Have The Warranty
