Default My Bold locks up with sms texts

Please Login to Remove!
My brand new Bold seems to lock up after several texts to one contact. I have to delete that text and start over. Any ideas?

how new is new? - also, what OS is your 9700 running? - if you unsure, compose a new e-mail message and type myver in the body followed by a space. - you may want to update your profile to include this info

New is one week old, and the version is 9700/5.0.0.714.
