Default Need to "turn on" memory cards?

Please Login to Remove!

I recall a setting in my 9000 Bold for the memory card under Advanced Options, I believe, but I see no such option on my Rogers 9700 Bold.

The unit came with a 2gb Micro SD and I also have my old one, still with data on it, and yet I cannot access either one.

When I connect the unit to the PC, Drive G is visable in My Computer, but I can neither access it nor can I even format it. When I try to format it, I get the error message, "There is no disk in Drive G".

So, my question is, does the memory card slot have to be "turned on" or somehow activated within the BB's OS or what?

Any insight would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Thumbs up Need to "turn on" memory cards? - RESOLVED

Figures, the minute I press "Submit" and pick up the BB, I find the answer.

For some reason, the solution was like looking for the mayo in the fridge; it was right in front of my face, but I couldn't see it.

Options - Memory - Media Card Support

Change from OFF to ON and some additional settings appear. Configure the rest, save the settings, and voila. I have 2GB.
