Hey guys, Ive been trying to search all over and find a desktop manager version that will work with my other computer running Windows ME. Its a lil older system, but the reason why is my current computer for some reason will not read 8100's to update the OS. It will read the 8320 and 8120 fine, but not the 8100. I really want to get the 4.5 Installed on the 8100's that i have. Any help towards this by chance?

I haven't heard "Windows ME" in a really long time. I forgot it ever existed!!
Are you sure the 4.5 you have is for 8100 and/or you deleted the vendor.xml file from the App loader folder?

I know right, i can put XP on there but its only stable for so long, it seems the computer has a boot virus that only affects windows xp, hince the ME lol....Yeah, i deleted the vendor file and everything, its been like this for awhile. It trys to load up the boot rom in the app loader and keeps going in a loop till it gives me an error code lol

IT doen't sound like the problem is your computer if the OS 4.5 goes onto the BB. It seems like you may need to wipe your BB in its entirety and then install 4.5.

well thats it, the 4.5 wont install onto the blackberry.....for some reason the apploader doesnt read the boot rom when trying to install it

A simple thought - try and install your current 8100 handheld software onto you pc. See if desktop manager will see it and app loader will launch.
