^^ Simple. Because anyone can formulate their username/emails around existing accounts belonging to another active user.

Just like someone on here did. They didn't have a real eBay account and made a username around someone elses...

They messaged me, showed me a legit account on eBay, and copied a bunch of home made pics from a BB found on another forum.

Hence, its easy to trick someone.
