So far I've been trying to get used to all the quirks and nuances of my new pearl. Things have gone okay so far, but I have one thing I wanted to get an answer to. I've searched on this, but haven't found what I'm looking for. Maybe it's because it's not possible...
I want to use one of my own pictures as the background to my pearl. Fine, resize to 240x260, upload, view, set as home. Cool...
But it just puts all of my icons all over it. And if I hide all but the ones I want, they're still in the middle of my screen (and picture).
Is it possible to use your own picture as the background for a particular theme? Meaning, can I make my picture the background for BB Dimension Today Plus?

yes u can set any pic as the background but you will have all the icons still there. All you have to do is go to the picture and then menu and then set as Home Screen Image.

Okay, again...a little more playing around would probably have answered my question...
I was setting the pic, and it would just go to the screen with all the apps...all I had to do was hit the back button and whoala! there's the home page of the DTP...

If you go with Dimension Zen, then you can have most of the screen real estate for your picture. That is what I do so that I can use a picture of my baby girl as my background and it works GREAT!
