I recently purchased a 7230 that appears to be pre-loaded with the Orange (UK) version of software. How can I get this to a US version of OS that can be updated by T-Mobile through conventional means? My problem is I am not getting any connectivity (email) and all my outbound calls are dialed as +44 then number.

Anyone have any ideas?

You can change the dialing prefix in the phone options.

Well, if I recall the latest version of software for the 7230 was from Cingular. You can download it from https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads...E4F82F9F00E7D4 and install it by deleting the vendor.xml file (if you don't know where to find it search your C drive)

As to upgrades RIM will not be upgrading software for devices that have less than 32MB of memory so your 7230 will not receive any software upgrades in the future.
