I have reloaded my blackberry pearl with a cable & wireless file and the network lock status has now become active. Can this be possible after a reload?

What do you mean by network lock?

Does that mean it is showing as "Off"?

I think he is referring to it being carrier locked... Is that correct? So its giving you an invalid sim error on the homescreen?
