Hello! We have been hard at work the past couple of weeks porting over Dark Cerulean for the Blackberry Bold. We would like to let everyone know that it is now available to purchase for $7.00. Dark Cerulean for the Blackberry Bold is available in nine different versions so there is a style for everyone to enjoy! The versions are:

* Bottom Zen
* L
* Today/Bottom Zen
* Today Area/Bottom Zen
* Crossbar
* Today/Crossbar
* Today Area/Crossbar
* Today Plus
* Today Area Plus

We have put up videos of the Today Area Plus and Today/Crossbar versions of Dark Cerulean so you can view them in action. Check em' out!

Purchasing instructions can be found here.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bottom Zen
The Bottom Zen style theme is much like the style of the original Precision theme. It has six icons on the bottom of the screen that can be switched to the applications of your choice.

L
An L style theme is much like a Bottom Zen style theme except it has two added icons on the left side of the screen to make the shape of an L. The eight icons on the home screen can be changed to the applications of your choice.

Today/Bottom Zen
The Today/Bottom Zen version is just like the Bottom Zen version only it has two today items above the Bottom Zen; Messages and Calendar. Underneath the Messages and Calendar header it will show your two most recent unread messages as well as three upcoming Calendar events. The two today items are fixed into place but the six bottom zen applications can be changed.

Today Area/Bottom Zen
The Today Area/Bottom Zen version is like the Today/Bottom Zen version except instead of having the today items show the subentries all the time, the today items only show up when you hover over Messages, Calendar, etc. It will show up to seven today items in the box and the box will stay there even when you change the wallpaper. The top three today items are fixed into place but you can customize the six bottom zen applications.

Crossbar
The Crossbar theme features 12 user customizable applications on the bottom of the screen that can be scrolled through. The box that the crossbar applications are in will stay there when you change the wallpaper.

Today/Crossbar
This theme has 12 user customizable applications with two today items above it. the today items are Messages (shows two latest unread messages) and Calendar (shows three upcoming Calendar events).

Today Area/Crossbar
The Today Area/Crossbar version theme has the Crossbar with 12 user customizable applications on the bottom along with the Today Area that we talked about in the Today Area/Bottom Zen theme.

Today Plus
The Today Plus theme has two today items; Messages (shows two latest unread messages) and Calendar (shows three upcoming Calendar events). When you scroll down from the today items, a dock will rise up in the air revealing five user customizable applications.

Today Area Plus
The Today Area Plus theme has the rising dock like the Today plus theme along with the today area we described above. The three today icons at the top of the screen are fixed into place but the five dock icons can be customized to your favorite applications. The today area box will remain even when you change the wallpaper.

Very nice... I'm tempted by the Today Area Plus version. A couple questions.... do the 3 top icons work as notifications when you have a new message or call? Also, has this been tested w/4.6.0.244 to see if it's impacted by the OS .237 .244 font bug?

Glad you like it!

When you ask if the top 3 icons work as notifications, do you mean does the unread indicator icon appear over them? As for the "font bug" you talk about... we have tested out all these themes multiple times, but not on the OS's you mentioned above. We will be testing it out shortly on .244 and will let you know. If there is an issue, we will have a fixed version out as soon as we can figure out a work-around.

Just finished testing this out on v4.6.0.244 and have experienced no issues with the fonts.

I didn't notice before two "area" choices... crossbar & dock. Is one of those versions more wallpaper friendly?

The "Today Area" themes (Today Area/Bottom Zen, Today Area/Crossbar, and Today Area Plus) all have the transparent black today area that will remain even when the wallpaper is changed. The only issue you may come across with changing the wallpaper is if you change it to a light background it may be hard to see the top date and the text application indicator because they are both in white. However, after purchasing the theme, we would be more than happy to change the color of the date and text indicator to black instead of white (if you are wanting to change the wallpaper to a light one.)

As for the box the crossbar is in in the Crossbar version, that will also remain when the wallpaper is changed.

So, in short, this is the answer to your question: No version is more wallpaper friendly than another.

It's quite simple, but I actually really, really love it! All variations too, which is a first for me. Great job!

Wirelessly posted (My New Bold)

I really like the one with the 3 small icons on top that open the today screen. If you could replace the call log icon with sms and have that a today icon, I'd def shell out the 7 bucks. =)

Sure no problem. After purchasing, just send an email to support(at)themeberry.com and include your order number and request, and we will get it done for you.

I had a small issue with the Dark Cerulean Today Crossbar. Scott helped me resolve it plus when I told him that I had a hard time seeing some of his menus, within a half a day, he customized my theme so I could use it more effectively. I had NO idea that he would do this. I was just mentioning my concerns to him so perhaps on future themes he would take into account.

I am amazed that there are developers out there that truly want to see their product succeed and want to make their customers happy. All I can say is that Scott has really brought back my faith in customer service and satisfaction.

Thanks so much and keep up the good work. I LOVE the theme.

It's not working. Try uploading the images to www.Imageshack.us because I really would like to see them.

Any chance of porting these over to the 8900? Very nice themes, hardest thing would be figuring out which one to get.

When the official builder is out, we plan on releasing several of our current themes (and new themes) for the Storm and 8900 Curve.
