Not if you value your job.

You can do it, but your BES admin would know and see, and probly disable the device completely while your termination papers are handed to you.

Never try to circumvent measures implemented by your company on THEIR property. They will know and simply reinstate plus you put your job at jeopardy.

(In if you have a personal device which you have activated on the company BES, this is one of the reasons why that is a very bad idea.

I agree with the above, for what it's worth. Don't violate or evade the policy. Talk to the IT people and see what they can do. Maybe they can't do anything for you, but tampering is a bad idea.

Even if you could install the apps on our own, your BES admin probably has the app permissions locked down anyhow, so the apps won't run regardless of whether or not you can install.

If it's your own personal device, I would not connect to company BES. If they have OWA, that might be a good option for you so you don't have a restrictive IT policy on your bb. If it belongs to them, you'll just have to live with it.

I concur with the above. Do not try to circumvent your company's IT Policies, unless, of course, you are looking for a reason to be asked to leave.

While I agree not to do it, this is actually not correct. You can't do it without being disconnected from the BES. If you remove the policy the device will still be usable, just not usable on the BES and you won't have access to your corporate email. Once you reconnect it will be locked down again. So, no, you can't do it as long as you're connected to the BES. The poster above who mentioned OWA has the best idea, if your IT will allow that.
