If you're on the newer BIS, make sure you change the "Send Using" to your [email address], rather than "Web Client". Using web client causes email messages to be bounced due to RIM using a bad reply to address (looks something like !bisusername@telco.blackberry.net

I'm having problems sending emails via my blackberry, but no issues receiving. My messages sent will go through with a checkmark but then almost immediately get the the red X. The message status states that "message included an invalid address." Which shouldn't be the case since I've tried to send email to three different email addresses that I personally use, including ones the device is set up to receive.

I've checked the forums and have tried resending service books and reregistering my handheld (through HRT Editor) but to no avail.

I'm wondering if it has something to do with Lotus notes (6.5)? I'm on a corporate system but using the BIS web client to get mail via the mail connector download. (not hooked into the BES or using redirector)

I'm having no problems sending or receiving mail via gmail, also hooked up through the BIS.

Also, I just got a new handheld since my old one died, so there should be any "old" software causing conflicts as far as I know.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Are you on T-Mo? I have the same issue for about 24-36 hours. They claim it is a RIM issue that everyone is aware of, and won't even transfer me to BB tech support.

Time to call again.

Michael
