Have a BB 7250 on Verizon and was wondering if anyone knows if there's a way to go over the 160 character limit for SMS.

It's not a big deal to just send another SMS, but it's pretty convenient to just keep typing.

My old cellphone allowed you to send up to 7 messages, so I was surprised to see that this doesn't just work on the BB.

You really don't want to go over the txt limit of 160 b/c there will be little chance that the phone receiving will truncate after 160 characters.

Yes it is called E-MAIL

If you chatting with another BB user ,just PIN them...my biz partner calculated that PINs have 16,384 character limit

You can setup your SMS to display multiple previous messages (Options, SMS,Number of Previous Items) such that the history of SMS messages with another user is displayed within the current message.

However, the "history" is not retransmitted when you respond. They previous messages display until they are deleted.
