i just got my blackberry and have a quick question. When i get an email from a friend that says hey lets meet at 3 at bla bla bla.. is there a way to send that to the calendar in the blackberry

Sorta like in outlook, you can drag an email onto the calendar and it creates a new calendar entry with the data field showing the email. Then you just set the time / date that is sitting in front of your face in the data field.

Can the blackberry do this?

No, it cannot.

Closest thing you can do is copy the entire text of the e-mail and paste it into a new calendar entry.
