Default Z10 Call Blocking

Please Login to Remove!

Under Settings for the phone, there are a list of things, one of which is Call Blocking. Under Call Blocking you have options to turn on/off Incoming Calls, Outgoing Calls, etc.
When you select an option for the first time, it will ask for a password. Sort of like it is already set. I tried entering 0000 for giggles and it comes back "Call Blocking is not Set. Please try again." You cant leave it blank either.

If you try to change the password, you only get the numbers and A- F.

Anyone get this feature to work?

BTW, I am on AT&T if it is a provider feature.

Thanks,

Is this what you are doing...

Block calls - How To - BlackBerry Z10 Smartphone - 10.0.0

If so, the user sets the password. Did someone else already set the password? I don't know of another explanation..

Yes, that is what I am trying to do. Brand new Z10, so there is no password set by me. That is the problem. It acts like a password is set or so it seems to me.

I am curious if anyone has been able to do this that is on AT&T. Or any other carrier for that matter.

It seems like this has been disabled or maybe just doesn't work.

Okay. For what it's worth I just tried. I see the same thing you do. I'm puzzled too. I guess I'll find the manual.

EDIT: My guess right now is this feature isn't supported by the carrier, or it is and you have to pay extra to have the feature turned on. My suggestion is call AT&T customer service. You may get a response here, sometime, or not.

I have ATT and I know my password and it wont set either so my guess is it's not a feature supported. No idea why not except it may be something they dont want to manage in the network. Customers may forget it's set and call in troubles.
