if i were to take a used balckberry into cell south and try to activate it... but it was reported stolen what would they do to me... i need ansrews asap.. any info would help

It's case-by-case whether or not they call the police and report you. Depends on if the phone store rep wants to go through the trouble of dealing with the police. Most carriers are now pushing their reps to take the time and report to the police, however. I'd assume they will indeed report you.
