Default 8830 resets about once a day

Please Login to Remove!

My dad has a sprint 8830 and he is complaining that it resets once a day.

I checked it and there is enough memory.

Anyone have any ideas why this is happening?

What OS is it running? Does it have a media card inserted? If so, remove it and see if it stops the reboots.

Which version of the OS are you running? I had the same problem, albeit more than once per day, after installing .138. I thought the issue was with the hardware, so I got a replacement. I put .138 on the new one, same issue. After reverting back to .135 and have not had any issues.

Are you using alt+shift+h to get the free memory?

Same here, the OP state's his dad's 8830 was having issues. The in the OP's last post he mentions his 8900. Which device is having issues? What's the file free of the 8830? Is there a memory card in the 8830?

Is that the version of the OS? Or Desktop Manager? 8830 does not have a 4.6 OS (unless there is some new beta)
