Hi, I just got the 8320 (Vodafone version, but i'm using a prepaid china mobile sim) and the wifi does not work on it. I also tried to install the gmail app and that does not work. I've looked throughout this forum and tried all the fixes that were suggested in terms of changing settings and it still does not work.

When I try to connect to my wifi (psk secured), it finds the network but cannot connect and says that it failed to associate with it. The same thing happens when i try to connect to an unsecured network.

Can anyone help me? The whole reason I got this was for the wifi and it seems completely useless. Is there anything I can do? Is it possible to completely wipe the OS off this system and install the blackberry OS from another service provider (such as CSL) that would not lock out the wifi functions without a bb data plan?
