I bought new Curve 8250 around 2 months back n im facing a problem that it gets restarted for no good reason.
went to blackberry service centre they told that my IMEI No. is invalid as hav purchased the phone from Thailand they are not entertaining me can u guys help me out that what can be done to get this problem fixed

Hey guys thanks for replying.

I purchased the phone from Thailand from MBK mall alongwith bill. Now the problem im facing is that it starts but while working screen becomes white for fraction of a sec n my phone restarts.
I went to my nearest Blackberry service centre to check what has happend they say that as the phone is purchased from Thailand there is no warranty and also they say that as i have purchased it from outside India so they can't trace my IMEI no on their machine so they are not entertaining me.

I want get my phone fixed please help me out from this

What is bill? Do you have a receipt for the purchase? It may very well be true that your warranty is only valid in Thailand.

Sounds like a knock off phone. Not a true one. Could be running BB OS for all we know.

if that number thing is not in there system there is something fishey.

First pull the battery to reset the phone. If that does not work go to this link and follow the instructions. Before doing anything make sure you have the OS for the model BB and have Desktop Manager on your PC.
