The RIM ship is taking on water. I'm thinking it won't be long.

Just like the Titanic's Captain thought his ship was unsinkable, so thinks the fanboy or girl. RIM is in trouble, everyone knows it. Denying it, won't stop it from happening. Maybe uncle Steve will buy it and bring it into the MS kingdom.

When RIM get's their version of Steve Jobs then I will agree with you. RIM's 2 CEOs are the problem and that ship will sink if they remain at the helm.

Trolling, as usual. We'll see how Apple fares without their iCorpse.

I still can't get past the fact that you can't have any customized ringtones, can't connect to a hidden network, and no OCS or Lync client on WP7. "Mango is just around the corner".

Customized Ringtones and hidden networks will be available on Mango, which should be out mid month.

Psssh, yeah I saw this through MSN on the main page. An investment group with less than 5% of RIM's shares states that they must either sell or at minimum spin-off a company to hold their patent portfolio or else they're done for.... hmmm those bells have rung before.

Microsoft however is doing just fine having spent probably more than a decade in the PDA/mobile business first with not so great PDA's, then not so great phones.

I truly do like Microsoft. I think MS has done a hell of a lot for the computer industry (some of their hardware was nice, their games have usually been great), but they also have some amazing blunders that make you wonder why they ever did it.

I know WP7.5 brings hundreds of improvements, which is nice. But shouldn't the question be raised "is it too late?" I mean if it's taken a year to improve WP7, maybe MS shouldn't be in this business.

MS is probably worse off than RIM when it comes to having a successful mobile device. Microsoft could have a complete failure and not worry, RIM can't.

I think right now the focus needs to be on improving OS7, keeping major updates to the PB frequent, and of course moving everything to QNX all while getting more developers on board for the BB platform.

Right now after the staff shakeup and minor restructuring, they need to focus on their products... not spending months on end splitting up the company or contemplating takeover bids, especially with the stock now making daily gains.... almost up $1 today!

Oh, please look at their website

Jaguar Financial Corporation

I'm sorry, you've got one guy who's been around since 2006 (probably founded it) and he's going on about RIM?

The website is shit, the company is quite new if we're talking investment houses... and they own probably around 2% of RIM shares...

The guy is a moron who's probably started the company after trying to get a finance position with RIM.

This is simply sounds of discontentment from the loosted pack. Anytime a company's shares take a hard fall you get these activist investors running around with their hair on fire, screaming for management's heads, or the sale of the company, or some other ploy to "unlock shareholder value". Bullocks.
