It drives me nuts that I accidentally trigger the redial last number green call button way too often when in my pocket. Many times the person on the other end listens in on my life with the phone in my pocket without me knowing the phone is active.
I hate bothering with the whole lock and re-enable thing, so wondering if there are any other alternatives.
Use a holster. Or put the device in standby mode by holding the mute key for a few seconds.

You don't have to get a belt-clip one, you can get one that slips in your pocket. Like this:
The mute key is quick and to take it out of standby just press the mute key again. It will prevent any misdialing. Other than that, I am not sure of any other alternatives.
