Question Address Book Help

Please Login to Remove!

Dear Friends!

Nokia mobiles have a feature of Contacts Display either from Phone or Sim Card and same is the case with saving contacts.

Is it possible with BB 8120?

I mean, if I remove sim card and use it on some other phone (nokia or samsung), I don't find contacts.

Did you copy those contacts from the Address Book to the SIM Card Phone Book?

Nokia gives a feature of saving or copying contacts to Memory card so that to use it with other Nokia phones...Does BB 8120 has this feature?

How can I backup my contacts (address book) to my computer?

1. A BlackBerry is not a Nokia. Don't expect it to work the same way.

2. As I indicated, you (the user) must copy the phone numbers individually to the SIM card if you want them to be stored there. It doesn't happen automatically. And ONLY the phone number and the contact name are copied to the card.

3. You can use BlackBerry Desktop Manager to backup your contacts to a computer. You can also use Desktop Manager to sync your contacts to Microsoft Outlook.
