Re: JL_Cmder
Hi Doug,
I have same problem than some W7 users.... double-click, cmd window opens for a second, and close. No execution for the program.
Blackberry Device Manager installed and updated.
But in my case, I'm with an XP Sp3...
Any Idea? I'm using version Oct 2011 for JL_Cmder....
Many thanks!

Re: JL_Cmder
Solved! Maybe self-extract *.exe is not running 100% with all OS. I've extract files, directly with WinRAR; and installed JL_Cmder.
Everything works perfect!! Many thanks for this great program!

Re: JL_Cmder
Hi All, my BB curve 9300 has been giving all kind of JVM errors, 505, 545, 507, I have been doing hard re-star by plugging to my laptop/DM without battery to repair/relod the software, at the beginning it seemed to work but now is dead, not even with JL_CMDER I can access, any ideas?

I will see if I can come up with something to make this automatic.

This is the wrong section, but here you go: KB24395-"Error 523", "App Error 523", or "JVM 523" appears on the BlackBerry smartphone

Re: JL_Cmder
Doug, thank you very much, I just used this on my Bold 9900, which I own but my previous employer left on their BES security policy. It worked great the first shot. Plus as an old DOS dude, loved the old school interface. Keep up the great contribution to this forum.

Re: JL_Cmder
Good evening guys,
I bought in US a pre-owned 9700, because it is without camera, but unfortunately it is coming from an enterprise :( and I can't setup my email because it always asks for an Enterprise Activation password. To send it back will cost me more than I paid it so I tried your software for a Reset To Factory but it doesn't work (still asking for Enterprise Activation password).
I also tried unsuccessfully with a modification of the BlackBerry Desktop Software/RIM registry in windows XP (and Vista) using a policy.bin file, as I read in another post.
Can someone help me?
Thanks in advance.

Do you have the BlackBerry data service on your line. Regular mobile data won't work for BlackBerry data such as the native push email. If you don't, or if you haven't received the service books, you will not see the Internet email option.
It might be you have removed the IT policy. Check in options and see.
If you really still have the policy on the device, see the following and look for a step you may have missed.

Re: JL_Cmder "Error: unable to open port"
JL_Cmder not working. When I request Device Info for example it just brings brings up an empty DeviceInfo.txt file.
So I tried executing javaloader and it tells me that " Connecting to device...Error: unable to open port"
It's connecting by wireless; does it need to connect by cable?

Re: JL_Cmder
You need to connect with the data cable. Wireless will not work.
