Believe me or not, I don't really care....I don't have to prove anything to anyone....I have been around blackberries for a long time and I always see what blackberries are coming out even before the general public...so take that! I would put down all the specs of the 'stealth' that's coming out but I won't do it...(I even know the code name for it) it would get some ppl I know in trouble. Don't think that I haven't been monitoring these blogs. I have more info than 'dawg' and 'boygenius'. But I did have the oppurtunity to use the stealth and play with it for some quite some time (about 3 or 4 months)....and I really like it...take it for what it is!

there are plenty of people here who have more information than BG, except that they are bound by three letters - NDA. trust me, we have a LARGE number of RIM employees on this forum, most of which wish to remain anonymous. there are even a couple members that are those that hold the keys to the palace and whatnot. i have no doubt that someone on here, even someone who just signed up (probably was lurking for a while and got tired of those darn messages telling him to sign up), has more information and knowledge on BlackBerry than our resident geek freak with the hookup (honestly, ask BG how he gets all of his stuff... he offers these wobbly-legged females various 'services' for knowledge and/or handhelds... he has a way with the ladies, really).

LoL...vzw's 8703e will look exactly like vodafone's 8700v...trust me, I've seen the device....its black with the verizon logo underneath the screen

VZW is not big on Blackberries...they're not marketable like the Q....

Ok, so about 3 months from now, I hope you all remember me for this post and give me props!! Because I will no longer be a noob!

My ultimate BB wishlist

CameraBerry

Almost as close to size as the slvr...the joystick u see in the middle? not really a joystick....its something else...(Think sidekick 3) ptt enabled on Cingular...has a great 5x camera...and a slot for memory expansion behind the battery...mp3 capabilites along with video playback capabilities...what more could any other BB user want?

if u don't believe me now, I don't know how else you'll believe me...

Peace out everybody!!

Question is it going to work on Cingulars WCDMA network??
If not then all that stuff is meanless to me, I would reather of a Motorola Q for everything personal, and the new vzw 8703e for Corp E-mails.
I can care less about Cingular Push to talk...

I'll give props where they are due, and I'm also not stating that BG is the only game in town but the dude does consistantly deliver the goods time and again. He backs his "rumors" up with pics 90% of the time. If the there others bound by non-disclosures that's great but where does BG get his info from then. My rant is substantiated all over this forum, jibi, much respect for your knowledge of the bb world, not attacking. all of this is imho, of course....

I have to disagree with you hnwosu. Although to your point, posting a "REAL" pic is a quality post, I don't think photo shopped images carry much weight.

I completely respect your opinion, but remeber when the 8700 was about to drop the only thing we had was a Photoshopped picture of a Blackberry Electron appearing around the web, see the attatchment. So to me any sort of somewhat official looking pic, real or computerized, in the ultra secretive world of RIM, is a quality post. That pic was probably part of some VZW presentation or something.

I was referring to this pic posted by jatfly:

87vzw.jpg

I have just been around for too many anticipated releases where people have posted photo shopped pics that have zero credibility. I guess I will end by saying if you are going to post a pic of an anticipated model claiming it is legit, just back it up with where or how you got it. You don't have to be so specific as to damage your source, but give us something.

I don't often look in this part of the forum, but I am finding this thread to be amuzing.

All this talk of new devices and how they may or may not look, you guys are great.

I don't doubt that some of what we hear is truth and some is "exaggerated" but why don't we be glad for what we do get?

I would be willing to bet that someone is risking their job to bring us ANY info on yet to be released devices and for that, we are, or should be, grateful.

Just my .02
