I have an 8320 and need to upgrade the handheld software and have the latest Desktop software. How do I do that?

One more question: If it's a RIM beta device that isn't currently on AT&T but I use it on AT&T will that matter?

Just a thought but I suspect that you have the latest software on your 8320 as it is relatively new. Keep in mind that you can only install an OS made for your specific device - i.e. you can't put an 8310 OS on an 8320.

I don't understand the question in your last post. Do you mean RIM beta hardware or RIM Beta software.

Personally, I would stay away from beta software on a device that I rely on daily. If it is hardware, then it must be unlocked first, assuming thta it is a GSM device.

I meant RIM hardware and it has the older software version so where you pointed me is correct. Thanks!

Only if there's a service book specific to that model that at&t doesn't have to push out to the device. Should be fine though.
