Default How to revive Device after upgrade failure

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

I tried to upgrade my device software to 4.5 and the upgrade did not end even after 3 hours. I disconnected th device and now its not turning on.

I tried to install the OS again using apploader but it gets stuck on the password screen. When I enter the password and press enter, it does not go any further.

I also tried to wipe using JL_Cmder but even that shows connecting to device forever and does not do anything. I have tries this hundreds of times.

Help please???

Try following these steps: What to do next if Jl Cmder will not connect and wipe - BlackBerryFAQ

Also, are you using Desktop Manager or Loader.exe?

And, are you connecting the device to a USB hub?

I tried the desktop manager, it stops at the password screen after I enter the password.

Using Loader.exe, it shows the message "Connecting to the device(ARM)" and stays there...

I am not sure about this USB thing. I am connecting it to a USB port on my laptop, how do I know whether its a USB hub or not?

It shouldn't be a hub,.

Try rebooting the laptop, what does the device currently show? Remove the battery from the device for 30 seconds and try the link I posted above after both devices reboot.

i'll try rebooting the laptop.
Currently the blackberry doesn't show anything. Just the LED keeps blinking twice then gives a pause and this keeps on repeating.
