We LOVE Latitude. My husband and I use Latitude to access each other's GPS. Now we don't have to ask how far someone is from home during evening rush hour. Also, it's a great safety feature. We have 2 old vehicles that are about to die. If someone's car breaks down, the other will know right where they are without needing directions.

Add to this the ability to see traffic maps, and GM+L has become vital. Now if we could only integrate it with messaging apps:

That's a really good example of it's use, currently setting it up and glad I am since Google Maps wasn't installed for some odd reason. With Maps installed do I need to bother with amazegps or the bb maps?

I don't use either of those, or Sprint Navigation. Only GM+L.

I couldn't find a proper site for BBdict but from what I saw if it's a free English dictionary I am certainly interested but otherwise I'll stick to surfing to Dictionary and Thesaurus - Merriam-Webster Online. Beejive is a universal IM app I imagine which I really don't need as I still to Live Messenger for the most part occasionally using Google Talk both of which I prefer in their original formats. I updated my device a bit so here is a new version of it, I encourage you to let me know what I'm missing even if it means I have to shell out a few bucks to round off my device.

I'm considering creating a post like the LIST but geared towards solely free applications. Was thinking an alphabetized list of free useful applications and games but also categories for when there are multiple options for that app type like browser, flashlight, etc... Would start off with my list and create a format that other users can follow to add what they think should be on it, something like:
