To me, this is the biggest issue. Please share your findings.
Findings: not good.

I had a fully charged battery Saturday 9am and by 10pm it was at about 40%.

Comparatively, I normally get (with moderate use) about 3 days. I'd say it's probably doubled battery consumption.

I will repeat the test today and feed back if there's any variance.

Yep, UberTwitter does beat up the battery quite a bit.

Thank you for sharing. It seems that a deal breaker with all new apps is battery power.

I am willing to give up certain features for the sake of battery power

Totally agree. Staying with Twitterberry until I hear the battery problem has been taken care of with this or Socialscope lets me in...

Unfortunately in my case, Twitterberry wouldnt function at all. If Not Social Scope or Ubertwiter, my next choice was Tiny Twitter.

you have to make sure you specify to exit out of the app and not just close. if you exit it won't run in the background and won't eat up battery

RANEUBB is correct. Put your info - get the error message - exit that and proceed.

I can't seem to get an answer either. I like Ubertwitter better than the others I have tried. Battery consumption is not a big problem with me, I do have a spare. And I always plug it in at night when I go to sleep.
