Default Displaying Battery Status in Percent on Home Screen

Please Login to Remove!

I know over the past month I've read a procedure for showing battery status in percent on the home screen. I spent nearly half an hour searching for this, both on the forum, on the wiki, in Stinson's delightful shortcut guide, and on the web as well. I'm starting to think I dreamed it...

Is there a way to change the home screen icon to read the percent (BB8800)?

Don't think so. You can do reception strength, though.

Not that I am aware of. You can do it if you use PocketDay or BBToday as your home screen.

I was wondering about this too. I prefer to see the battery level in percentages but the only way is to go into Options and then Status. It'd be nice to at least be able to make a shortcut to that.

I use the alt shift H combo to display the "help me" page.
It lists a bunch of system info including the battery level as a percentage.

Good Luck!
