This may sound stupid, but does anyone have any recommendations on how to keep all the finger prints from smudging up the pretty, shiny BlackBerry Pearl? I swear, I can sit there and try to touch the thing as lighty as possible, but after I set it down and look at it, it's covered in fingerprint smudges. It's just annoying to have to get a napkin or tissue and, without touching the phone with any part of my skin, wipe the thing down and put it in it's holster, just to keep it looking nice and new. Am I going to have to start putting on white gloves each time I need to use my BlackBerry?
You will probably want to get a skin for the device. Do a search for Best Skins Ever. I believe they have full-body skins for the device. However, there isn't much you can do about fingerprints since you have to touch the device at some point.
- Black silicone skin from Verizon (I'm sure Sprint sells similar) that fits very snugly, and looks quite nice
- BestSkinsEver screen protector
Covered back, front, and sides, zero fingerprint issues, and the silicone skin gives it a really nice feel w/some cushion and much better grip than the Pearl surface has. I feel much less likely to drop it, but it goes in and out of my pocket w/out any problems. Like this setup more than any other I've ever used w/a phone.
Yeah, I saw that, but wouldn't it be fairly easy to take an exacto knife or something and make room for the camera area on the backside? The rest looks like it'd fit the 8130 fine. I may be wrong though, I don't know.
