Exclamation Sos Trouble

Please Login to Remove!

I recently bought a blackberry storm from simple mobile or known as mobile one and i guess i must have change the setting to sos i do not know how doe but i need it to go back to the network so far i did the following steps

Turn Blackberry off.

Take off the battery door and pop out the battery.

Remove the SIM card. Check to see if there are any scratches or signs of damage.

Replace the SIM card and battery, making sure the contacts on the SIM card match up to the contacts on the device. Turn the device back on.

Check to see if the Blackberry is still in SOS mode. If it is, make sure the Network Selection Mode is set to "Automatic" by going to the options menu and selecting "Mobile Network" to view network selection setting. If the network is set to "Manual," change it to "Automatic."

i did all of these and it is still in sos mode is there any way i can reset anything or reset the whole phone or wipe it clean something please i need help i have everything backed up so how do i clear it to get back with my network?????

You should contact the provider to make sure that the SIM is valid and you have signal in the area

Hi All,

I just fixed my BlackBerry(BB) Bold "SOS" issue. It is my Business Phone where i get calls and see my business emails. The carrier is Verizon. This is what you have to do, Go to Options --> Mobile Network - Network Technology - change it to Global. My BB has started working again. This also happens when you are out of network for long time or no network in area at all.

Thanks,
Farookh Azeez

To save yourself some time you might download a manual for your model
