Ok...on to my next question. Under applications>options>media card, it says total space 1.8gb and free space1.8 gb. Now I have about 23 pictures on the media camera. Shouldn't it have less gb's free?

Pictures dont usualy take up a lot of space. ".8" GB is 800mb, and a picture usualy at most only ".2" mb (or .0002 gb) if you want to make sure your phone is registering the size correctly, try putting a larger file on the memory card, perhaps some music or the install file for OS 4.5

as a side note, in the options for the camera, make sure its set to save your pics to the media card and not the device memory.

Mine does the exact same thing,I have about 50 ring tones and 30 pics on my card and it always says
total space 1.8gb
free space 1.8gb

Most ringtones (unless using full MP3 format songs) won't take up much for space. I store lots of pics on mine, and my card is only down to 1.7gb (out of a 2gb card).
