Finished. Bootup was abnormal fast I have to say.
You need to Register new hosting routing table and then do a reboot and your back on BB service.

Everything is really fast.

I'll give my findings later on today.

haha. im run 238 (by far the best - maybe not the fastest boot -) but i have no random reboots, much better battery life than 314, and unlike 348, i can boot into it (i have ATT). i tried the 'fixes' to get it workin on 348.. but to no avail, the system rebooted even WITHOUT services turned on (i was reading it was based off connecting to ATT). i think it has something to do with some java files, and i am wayyyy to lazy to go through all the java files to see which one..

until then, i just stole the theme for 348 and through it on 238 and im lovin it

when comparing the two directories for 238 to 348 i find this:

348 has no VVM

net_rim_bb_addressbook_usimapp.cod
net_rim_bb_mailboxiconmanager_lib.cod
net_rim_bb_phone_auto_redialer.cod

these three files are new since patch 314. they are not in 238.

im diggin into the files to see what has changed and what hasn't, and maybe find the culprit.

i rooted it down to this: there was little to no change in JAVA folder except for what i stated above. my guess is something with the UMTS or alx's in the main OS dir..

I have to say I'm running it now for 14 hours and everything works fine. Didn't had any rebood. Everything works fine. just recharged the battery and will ping and email allot and will see how the battery will be in the morning.

But I have good props for this .348

I had the problem on .314 that Opera didn't worked but on the .348 Opera works.
