Default Sending Files via BLUETOOTH ?

Please Login to Remove!

since the storm is carried on the Verizon network, do you guys think it would lack the feature of sending files via bluetooth ? would we just have to resort to using MMS ?

No, you should be able to send files via bluetooth. However, not all files can be sent via bluetooth on a blackberry.

im not exactly sure because verizon is known for crippling the bluetooth file transfers on their phones making you have to pay the extra fee of messaging the files over.

I've sent pictures, ringtones (not the built in ones) and music via bluetooth on my VZW 8330 without issue. Can anyone report having a VZW BB that could not?

Has anyone got this to work with other types of files? I'm being told by Verizon that this phone is not yet supported for OBEX file exchange.

Also, does anyone know for sure what types of files can be exchanged via Bluetooth? (Word documents, PDF files, Xcel sheets, etc?)

Verizon is know for "cripling" their DUMB or FEATURE PHONES, not their blackberries (other than GPS lock).
