Angry 7100i screen shows "connecting with desktop" when paired with bluetooth carkit

Please Login to Remove!

i paired my nextel blackberry 7100i with the siemens HKW-700 bluetooth car kit. when the two get paired and connect then the screen turn blank and says "connecting with the desktop" and i cant get onto the main screen to make phone calls or even do anything. once i turn off carkit it goes back to normal. this carkit also has the fuction to transfer the phonebook numbers and display them on the screen but that doesnt seem to work either. i tried starting a phonecall and then turning the carkit on and it paired and it worked but then once the phonecall ended it went back to that screen that doesnt allow me to do anything. does anyone know if there anything i can do or a setting that i am not doing corectly. i would appreciate any help with this. thank you so much.

I have an 8800c and a friend with 8700g. we both got the same car kit this week (woot.com) and on the forums at woot a lady posted that it took a very long time to upload addressbook on her 8700g. So this tells me it WILL work. I really like the kit because it sounds great and I am determined to find an answer to this. Whichever one of us figures it out first, please reply the solution.

I have not been able to get it work and on the other forum where the lady said it worked I sent her a private message and have not gotten a reply. I did log into my BES server and disable the force password on mine for a day to make sure it was not because of the forced locking. But that did not work. I did, however, manage to turn the bluetooth device off and go into the phone menu. From there I turned the bluetooth device back on and was able to dial. A little too cumbersome to do while driving, so currently I am using it for incoming calls only while driving. In that capacity, it works great. If I do find any more info on this, I will come back and post it.
