Is there a way to disable the notification for VM showing up in my email box and only showing in the VM box?I am getting both notifications and it gets annoying sometimes.

I agree, it's annoying. I haven't seen anyway to avoid that other than do a workaround using the individual email folders.

Can't you do this in the phone options settings? I don't get the VM notifications in my inbox.

I would like to know as well, and i don't see anything under phone options to change the behavior.

I don't think you are understanding the question... My visual voicemail works just fine, it's the notification for both the VM icon and "message" that gets annoying.

what about going into your messages options --> inbox settings and click all to the main message list. my VVM messages come in like SMS, this may help.

The thing is, I just want the VM application to notify me of a new message. I do not want it in my messages box. BTW, Google Voice does the same thing.
