Default users: time since last sinc = 45 minutes?? EEEK

What can cause a handheld to not sync for that long? Other than poping out the battery in the handheld is there a way to make the BES sync with the BB?

I assume the user has the device turned on. Most BBs dont allow data sync while the voice side is being used. The user could be on a long telephone call or out of coverage.

Or the dadgum thing might have just locked up.

Pull the battery.

Buahhaha 45 minutes and you are worrying? I have two people tied for 157 days since last sync ;)

If the user is connecting and you want to force a reconcile, just go to the message list click the wheel and hit "Reconcile Now".

Default Longer!

I started noticing the inactivity and last year started running a monthly audit based on that field. Record is 608 days since contact. This has been helpful identifying people who just don't use the device and reclaiming for another person to use.

Most often used reason why they havn't used the device - I'm not traveling.

Wow I definetly cant beat 608 days. Thats awesome ;)

I do agree with your most often reason. I guess some people dont get hooked on crack w/ their first hit, eh?

At my company we dont bother trying to reclaim them. If a department wants to pay for a device to sit in it's box on their desk, hey thats 1 less user dropping their BB in the toilet for me to worry about!
