We've still got 1000+ pending emails on our BES servers with some recent LastFwdTime entries, so I'm guessing we're still in sporadic mode.

As I posted in the other thread the company that I work for has been on the phone with RIM and the issue is being worked on. RIM has no ETA for the fix at the moment.

Again, my Nextel phone is working fine.

Could we be looking at a worm of some kind? It seems odd that it is hitting multiple carriers. They all have independent infrastructures to some extent right?

It hit one of our VP's and he's in North Carolina. It looks like things are working better now although it's not fully working, at least some of the messages on our BES server are going out to him.

Still out in baltimore...on hold for RIM now. I wonder if it is worth waiting. Probably not since they are going through an influx. Why didn't they have a broadcast message that let me know this before I waited on hold.

Default Anyone able to SMS?

I can send SMS to myself from my 7290, but not from anywhere else? If cell works, why not SMS?

It must not be a global problem because I am with Verizon in Indiana and my BB has been working all day (and still is).

Back up in North Jersey. Seems stable. I have been receiving email for the last hour or so with no problems.

It was an issue with RIM's network operation center (SRP server) and not the wireless carriers' networks. All traffic passes through the SRP server, so this is why users across muliple carriers were affected.

TMobile Baltimore the browser works, before this whole issue started I was getting an influx of quota full to delete messages, couldn't send because quota reach, to delete messages to free up space. So I figured just may be a result of the tmo.blackberry.net account not having that much space since my 3 email addresses dump into that since I don't have BES. Now my Blackberry's inbox is empty and I haven't gotten any email. Could this be a result of the outage or is there something I'm doing wrong? I host my own email and have unlimited space, so not sure if its on my end or not.

Service on Cingular North Jersey is back up now. I reloaded the services just to be sure. I see allot of reprocessed messages. I have recieved my emails, and another 1,500 are in the queue for other users.

Not sure if it's affecting anyone else, but just wanted to pass this on. Anyone else have any news on it?
I was just able to open a couple of sites on my browser, here in MIA
