in redirector make sure that the box is set to redirect incoming messages to your handheld. Also check advanced and be sure that your email adress is not set to overide address.

How are you trying to forward e-mail to your BlackBerry? BlackBerry Web Client, BlackBerry Enterprise Server or the Desktop Redirector?

OK, for the Desktop Redirector to work, it must have a connection to your network and Exchange server. 24X7. If you close your VPN, you lose the connection to Exchange, and your e-mail redirection stops. That's the major downside to the Desktop Redirector.

The Treos pull their e-mails, or your company has a Goodlink server installed. Here is an excellent sticky thread on what the e-mail options are for a BlackBerry - http://www.blackberryforums.com/showthread.php?t=680

Good luck!
