Default BIS accounts on phone, not VZ BIS site

Please Login to Remove!

8830, BES and BIS
I had set up about 4 BIS accounts linked to the 8830. But then I had to wipe the phone and reload everything.

Now the phone still shows the 4 BIS email accounts, but the Verizon BIS web site only shows two of them, my main gmail and the vzw one assigned to each phone.

How come they don't match?

What I really want to do is delete those extra email accounts so they are not available from the phone, but since they don't show up on the Verizon site I can't delete them there, and I can't see any option to delete from the BB

Help please.

Also, if you have let's say 8 BIS accounts, is the BB polling them all the time, and possibly using up a lot of battery?

thanks

Did you try a battery pull?

I suspect the reason for the extra accounts is the service books are still there. You said you wiped the device? Was that just a security wipe?

The battery pull is likely to straighten things out.

Battery pull didn't help

The accts have icond, but when I go to options they show up without any info such as reconciliation options. Mail sent to these accts don't show up on BB

I did Wipe from Security screen. Then resent service books and did bes enterprise activation

See what others say, if you want. I'd delete the service books for those addresses.

I second that.. I would delete any old email account service books, both the CMIME and CICAL service book.

Then do a battery pull... Also resend the service books from the BIS Site.

You should be good.

Post back with any issues.

Thanks everyone. I deleted cmime and cical for the extra bis accounts, rebooted and the extra are now good. I tested it by sending emails to the bes and bis account and everyone came to the BB correctly. I did not re-send the service books - is there any benefit of doing it?

Also, if you have 8 or 10 bis accounts linked to the BB, does that increase polling and have any effect on the battery?

Thanks

If everything is there, no need to resend service books. But it is easy enough to do and will not hurt.

I expect the power consumed through your use reading through the emails would far outweigh the power used just to receive the data. But just guessing.
