Question Yes it is better

Yes it is very good actually... i downgraded to .110 last night, but i am considering to go back to .124 again, and I will do it right after this post. There are 2 things I find better in .124 than .110. and much better than .108 (81).

1- After the installation settles (1/2 hour or so after the installtions) I found this version much faster than the previous versions.

2- Wireless network and UMA with both .81 and .110 was sluggish. .124 finds the Wireless right away and is faster with the wireless also.

I think those are the only imporvement I could see. unfortunately the memory leak is as bad as .81 and .110. some say it is a better, but I really don't see that.

Well that settles that, 2 good reasons to upgrade, I was wondering if someone can explain what the Memory Leak is, is it something like when the handheld is to slow to open an application?

Anyone running BBAlerts with .124? Has the way PIN notifications come across (signaled as email as opposed to PIN) been resolved when using this app?

After the upgrade my phone seems to have problems switching from wifi to blackberrry service. When I come home it connects to the network but when I leave it seems like it takes it a couple hours to realize it's out of range and needs to change over.

Been running .124 for over a week now, and have had no issues at all. Added the My-Faves to our family plan and got my unlock code from T-Mobile...life is good!

Yeah, similar but different.

I unlocked my berry via T-mobile for free and I'm basically off contract now. Horray! So I'm thinking very wisely of what I am going to do next. But my Curve is just running so perfectly that I really don't need change just yet.

Been running 4.5.0.174 since yesterday afternoon from .110 and basically huge change in memory leakage from the .110 version. Also connection to UMA devices is a lot quicker and maintains connection a lot better.

Basically been smooth sailing for a while.

Wirelessly posted (T-Mobile BB 8320 OS 4.5.0.124)

Hey guys, what's the WordMole.alx in the Java folder. I thought that this game was only for 4.6. Either way, it didn't load to my device during the update. I will browse for the file in DM when I get home. Will post back with sucess or failure of install.

Hi bcinelli,

Do you really find the memory leak better than .110? I am still trying to determine if the memory leak was better in .110 or not. I did not do a battery pull since Sunday and I am down to 10 megs from 15.

Running 124 for 24 hours now. I even replaced the cracked faceplate and bottom cover in 15 minutes last night by myself. Some shop wanted $100 to change it out. Crooks.
