Thumbs up hello there

Please Login to Remove!

yeah, i am on a boat too. i have the same problem with u about Fb notiffication. Actually it's not just happen in BB, it's also happen when u open fb from web browser in your PC. If u update something in ur fb through BB, ur update won't appear in the web browser of ur PC. So i think, FB has a troble, a BIG trouble. And BB is still just a bb, nothing's wrong with it, just blame facebook. n then we'll see for the next. i think it's like when BBM 0.5 version came out coulpe months ago, there was so much trouble on it, so i think fb will be just fine.

Same problem on my berry. Was tinkerin' on the laptop too and I was unable to get some messages to post while on FB. I think the site is having problems and that is affecting the app.

I've stopped holding my breath waiting for this to be fixed because I've passed out a few times already.

I'm getting the same problem, it started yesterday after getting a message and getting the "Null" error.

Ever since then, I don't get any update notifications on my phone, I can check them, by using the Facebook App but I don't get the icon on my phone or even an email letting me know.

It seems there has been a ton of problems like this the last few days, so I'm thinking maybe Facebook is messing up, since it has been reverting my status lately, saying I have to reconfirm a friend I added yesterday over and over and reopening a conversation box I had open several hours ago.

Anways, I'm sure we have all come to the conclusion this is a facebook issue not a BB issue, right?

I've uninstalled and reinstalled and did a battery pull. Also everytime I log out of facebook on my phone and log back into it, I get a message saying it had trouble connecting to facebook, but it still logs in.

Basically, facebook is a mess right now.

In addition to all of the fun we've noticed above...

When I try to click a link on the mobile site, it kicks me back to my homepage. Anythoughts as to whether or not our issues may be linked to the new facebook lite?

My vote is fixing the issues with the iPhone app.

Me too. Haven't received a single notification since last night. I can see them thru Facebook Mobile, though.

I just updated my status and received this message, which I've never seen before...
"Your status has been updated. To update your status via SMS, send a text to 32665 (FBOOK)."

Could it be a clue as to what is happening? (Maybe we should look for more paw prints...)

I just updated my status and did not get that message. Maybe the system intercepted mine, however, because I put that I am tired of Facebook's problems lately.

I just went searching through fb (from my computer) and found this under the fb for bb section.

There are a lot of posting from people who are reporting the same issue. Someone found this and posted a link. I haven't looked at it yet but it seems like it might have an answer...

Interesting, but if 1.7 is needed to properly process the incoming FB messages, then this whole transition was handled very, very poorly. My money is on 1.7 being a coincidence, and the problems with Facebook are unrelated.

I hope one of the new features for v1.7 is that it STINKIN WORKS.

They're doing something......

I just noticed when I open up the Mobile Facebook page (via the browser) my status now shows 'via Facebook or Blackberry'. It didn't used to say that when I updated my status from my BB.
