I have the Gmail mobile application on my Curve 8320. While it is not perfect, it does keep me connected. My problem is I can't get the Curve to notify me when I get new email in the Gmail. I've got it checked in the Gmail application to notify me and I have my profile set to notify me for Gmail, but nothing. In fact I don't know I have new email until I open the application then hit refresh.

So how do I get the Curve to notify me I have new Gmail like it does when I have an incoming call or a new SMS/MMS message?
