I have a BB Bold and I seen many pictures of its software, but when I go on my phone, I cant find the software. For example, I can't find the Weather or Stocks apps?

There is no weather or stocks app installed to the Bold, by default.

Find the weather or stocks app you like, and load it.

Some software is carrier-dependent and some require a BlackBerry data plan. Do you have a BlackBerry data plan?

As dc/dc says, these can be carrier dependant.

For Rogers, Stocks and Weather Setup was in the Setup Folder IIRC. They are actually Service Books and can be seen in Options, Advanced Options, Service Book. But you may not see them with your carrier if they don't push out those service books.

And in fact, they're not apps at all. They're simply hyprlinks to websites where an app can be downloaded...

Better off looking in the App World, Check the After market Software forum.

Search for Weather Apps, there are a few out there and have discussed.

Not sure on the Stocks however.

The Bloomberg app is great for stocks. It's a free download from Blackberry App World under the Top Downloads section.
