Was your BlackBerry once on 3? If so, it may still be associated with your old carrier for data, and since you cannot have two data plans on one device you would need to call 3 and make sure the PIN was released from your old account. Only then will you get data from o2.

Yes you are right. it was on orange, but 02 said if you bring it to us we will set it to default settings and set it up.

I'm sure they assumed that you had canceled your previous data plan with orange.
