Battery Charge 95% max?
Please Login to Remove!
Hi -- not sure if I am alone in this but my Storm will never charge above 95%. No matter how long I leave the unit on the charger the lightning bolt never goes away and according to the status page, the battery never has more than 95%.
Anyone else have a similar problem?
Anyone have any insight?

Strange. I had a similar problem for the first two days. Then, one day i got it to charge to 100%, then its been fine ever since.
What OS version do you have installed?
Also, have you tried letting it charge for like 12 hours? What about usb charging, through your PC?

I have noticed that the battery indicator on my Storm will continue to say that it is charging for hours after it has reached 100% in Options > Status.

I had this happen to me, only 95% on the wall charger, but the next day on the PC's USB charger, it went to 100%.
I want one that will go to 11.

Wirelessly posted
I was hearing about the Storm going into a trickle mode when charged via USB. Might have something to do with that.

How much time???? lol
I left mine on the charger for 9 hours and it never went past 95%, Anyone got anything on this yet? You think it can be the .85 beta I have on? I really dont want to wipe it back to .75 just to see the same issue, are there any .75 people out there having this issue?

I have it happen as well, although there seems to be no real pattern. Some mornings it is at 100% with the bolt off, others its not. Even if the bolt is there, if I unplug it and then look at the status it says 100%, so it is like the bolt just forgets so go off?

I noticed this once, I wasn't sure if it was an on going issue. To solve this, I let the phone battery die, then do a full charge cycle. This took about 6 hours and after that I get 100% all the time. Hope this helps.

The battery level reading are only approximate so the entire debate is academic.

this has happened to me with every os version so far. charges to 95% and sticks. if i leave it for a long time it WILL go to 100%, but the lightning bolt never goes away, and if i shut it off and charge it the blinking light never turns solid green. now that we all know it happens to everyone, do we feel better?

using .85 when I charge it never hits 95% and when it used to hit 100% i used to get such better battery life...but on 95% for some reason, the battery life seems very weak in comparison
